The production of edged timber in the sawmill consists of a number of successive functions. This part describes the process through the cycle from the entry on the wood for the factory to its exit from the factory (Incoming log garden – Horizontal band observed – Head saw – Edger observed – Resaw – Trimmer – Sorting and Restoration –
